Comic-Con 2008 & Sketchbook Pro 2009

Comic-con was awesome this year. Met some great people, went to some great parties and got to pick up some really nice art books. Met Mark Hamill at the Gotham Group party. He's a cool guy, we chatted about the Batman animated series (he did the voice of the Joker).

Anyways, I picked up SBP 2009 a couple weeks ago. Tonight was the first time I could really sink my teeth into it (if only for an hour) and I really really like it. I'm putting together my sketchbook to sell next year, and I think I'm going to be adding a lot of digital sketches to it.

Who's going?

I'll be there from Thursday through Sunday, buyin' art books and going to panels. Hope to see lots there!

Just a quick one for today. I've been working on an illustration for the band All Time Low all day, and I went to a 3am showing of Dark Knight last night so I'm wiped.

Bricked my iPhone

Tried to update to the 2.0 and bricked it. Finally got it back to just being broken and not being useless, so now I just need to wait for someone to release some 2.0 hacking software.

I know I'm too late to work on Mass Effect 2 ... but maybe we'll see this guy in ME3?? Come on Bioware, you know my number!

Barbarian

Diablo 3 was announced this week. That game, besides being fairly hack & slashy, always sparked my imagination and resulted in lots of artwork, both fanart and otherwise.
