I guy whom I use to rig for 3D jobs (Chris Nelder) asked me to design a few characters for him. In return he modeled and rigged one of my characters for me. It's the guy with the big arm and jetpack ... I think number 3 in my flashy portfolio thing at the top of the page.
Another guy I've worked with (Dave David) asked to animate it for his reel, so I think it'll turn out pretty nice.
It's a 3D render from Maya, and then I futzed with it in Photoshop to make it look cool. Added some grain, messed with the colours and the contrast.

I can't wait to play around with this rig man!
I'm thinking of him trying to fly for the first time with his jetpack, like when Spider-man tries out his web-slinger. We'll take when its all done :D
