Happy Holidays!

Well, it's that time of year again. When the snow is falling, the days are short, and the air in my office drops three degrees to that awkward 'too warm for a sweater, but too cold for a t-shirt' temperature.


I just wanted to say that it's been a really rewarding year for me and I hope it has been for everyone else too.

I wanted to thank everyone at Nelvana, Tribal DDB, Kono, and Cookie Jar. I had a great time working with all of you, and I look forward to doing so again in 2008. You're all a pleasure to work with.

To everyone at Replaced by Robots, you guys brought your A-Game all the time, and I know that's not easy to do at 3AM. Can't wait for the new year.

Troy and everyone at Gotham, thanks again for all your help and support. I think we're going to do great things together next year.

To everyone on the Brett Board, thank you for your unwaivering support and inspiration. You guys are phenomenal artists and I'm in awe of how far everyone's progressed in the last year.

My friends, as always, thanks for putting up with my bitching and for putting me in my place when the situation calls for it. Most of all thanks for being there.

To my family, you've all been wonderful this past year and have helped out far more than I could have ever expected. You have my sincere love and gratitude.

And of course to Andrea, thank you for saving me from myself and sticking with me even when I was sleep-deprived and on the verge of madness (or at least sillyness). You made this year what it was for me. I love you.


Alright, sappy stuff aside ... look forward to some cool-ass shit to start happening in 2008. It's going to be a banner year and I can't wait to get started. I would proclaim this 'The Year of Brett III', but I've already declared it 'The Year of Matt 'Tooninator' Boismier'. He's going to leave us all in the dust.
