Redesigning Origo
So over here in North America, there is pretty much no audience for an animation action show that's purely action. With the exception of franchise stuff like Batman, Superman, Hellboy, etc. Unfortunately for me, I didn't know this when I brought my first pitch to L.A. last summer. It was a high-concept, fantasy/sci-fi action show with little to no comedy at all.
It turns out, however, that there may be such an audience in Europe. I met a woman at the Gotham Group party in San Diego who is affiliated with a European studio and she told me I could pitch an action show to her.
So I've since taken my baby, Origo, back down from the shelf where it was collecting dust and started to redesign the now one year old characters.
Once that's done I'll be tackling the massive re-write of the script, and then I'll begin the even bigger task of putting together a pitch package which I can send to her.
Here are a few of the character redesigns:

These aren't final by any means. I'm just trying to get them to a level that's a little more professional, shows a little more of their character and personality, and of course is way more animation-friendly.
Look forward to more Origo goodies. Cheers
